TOP 15 FEED IDEAS USING VSCO FILTERS
I’m frequently asked about what filters I use on my photos on my Instagram feed. So today, I’m going to introduce a series that I curated myself featuring my top 15 recommended filters on VSCO App to help you start your content in creating a diverse and more complex feed.
The VSCO app is a great one that I use to edit my iPhone photos. If you haven’t downloaded the VSCO app, you should do it now. It has filters for every mood, every color scheme and every vibe you want to create in your Instagram feed. Having almost 100 presets to pick from was a nightmare! And I could never remember which preset I liked best. VSCO’s easy-to-use interface is what I really love. It has a vast amount of tools which includes adjusting exposure, temperature, contrast, rotation, crop, saturation, fade and sharpness of your photo. You can either take photos through the app or take a photo from your regular camera app and import the photo into VSCO Cam (the latter is what I usually do). The best thing about the app is that it is free and available on both Android & iOS.
Posting photos on social media has changed through the years. Before, we were just using different kinds of filters to make our pictures look good but now, you have to be picky on your subject and give so much attention on editing to make your photos fit on your feed.
TIPS:
- Get inspiration from other feeds.
- Think of a subject that you would like to post. It can be food, travel, clothing, gadget, etc.
- Pick a color that will stand out on your feed.
- Choose one or two VSCO filter/s only and stick with it.
- When editing on VSCO, use the same amount of brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation, etc. on all your photos. ( Still depends on the picture and need few adjustments to balance everything )
